mom Posted September 3, 2006 Author Share Posted September 3, 2006 Just to answer my own question!.... There are no practical campsites with facilities near Vilnius at the moment. However, the best solution for us was to stay at Camping Slenyje just outside of Trakai, then either bus or train to Vilnius. Bus is faster and more reliable. Getting from the campsite to Trakai can be a taxi or boat.
