dwaviation
Hi All I am about to fit a CTEK 250S Dual to my van and whilst familiar with the CTEK requirements find the spaghetti of wires in the Eldiss 115 a little daunting especially given the very dodgy wiring diagram in the handbook... My question is; should I disconnect and remove all existing charging circuits already in place or can I wire up the CTEK in parallel leaving all the factory fit stuff in situ? sshortcircuit
Do not leave existing as you will defeat the benefits of the Ctek. I simply removed one fuse at the split charge relay which was the feed from the alternator through a relay to the leisure battery. Unfortunately do not no details of your vehicle. Try and keep your cable runs to minimum and fit fuses at both batteries. Otherwise a good bit of kit
dwaviation
Thanks, that's just what a thought. Good tip about the fuse, I hadn't thought of that...
