gwyn
We live in Lincoln and are thinking of having a bike rack put on, our van is a transit with two opening doors so I know that the price of a rack is about £190...unless anyone knows one which is cheaper!!! We had a laughable quote from our local motorhome dealer quoting £450 to buy and fit it, my question is does anyone know of anywhere not too far or a mobile firm who would fit it for a sensible price. snowie
Hi Gwyn; having taken a bikcarrier off the back door of our Ducato I'd think it would be quite easy to reverse the process and fit one. They don't require any holes to be drilled. I've PM'd a company that might be able to help regards alan b

Everything was fine for almost 3 years then the inner edge of the door buckled where the top of the rack was clamped, The repair we had done was expensive and we did not refit the rack but bought folding bikes which we can transport inside the van. The same problem we experienced was reported with photographs in MMM by someone who had the same problem.
