w1ntersun
I run my TV off the invertor, I also run a sound system IE 2 speakers and subwoofer off the TV. The sound system is 12 volt but I was running it off the 240v transformer off the invertor. To cut down on power consumption I now run the sound system off the leisure battery. Prior to going to 12v I got no interference, I now get a buzzing when the tv is running on the invertor and the sound system is running on 12 volt.I do not get the buzzing when on hookup and the tv is on 240v.Question. Can I suppress the Buzzing?
Bill Ord
Almost certainly the problem is with your invertor. It's probably not a sine wave invertor. From the experience I've had there is no cure except to use a pure sine wave invertor and they are usually at least twice the price of 'Square Wave' invertors. this is why 12volt TV's are used in vans in preference to 230 volt types. Clive if he is around could advise more authoritively. Bill Ord
