nowtelse2do
I know some have had or are on holiday at the moment, but for those that haven't gone yet where are you off to. I'm off to the Achensee area of Austria for a week then down to Bad Durrheim in the Black Forest for the 2nd week, No motorhome anymore but will probably be a tugger next year, so for now a couple of Guest Houses will have to suffice. Frank's (HE) off to the Haute Provence, maybe as the advance guard, warning of 1foot's pending arrival to the locals a week later :D ;-) antony off for 4 days mending the roof of the Mecca kaaba, Shiv Temple. :-D Mel's in Southern Ireland, Jeremy's said he's off permanently (try not to be J) So where are you others off to? Gwendolyn
Achensee – Pertisau – Chalet School connection! Lovely! I’ve read that Chalet School fans make annual pilgrimages to Pertisau – be warned. Watch out for aged schoolgirls bearing hockey sticks. Right now: In our caravan [‘cos I am still a Tugger too; it's not that bad, honest] in Cotswolds for a week – mainly for theatre going in Stratford: 5 plays in 4 days. Home then on Sunday to the Costa del Cymru to enjoy what’s left of August. Then off in motorhome for September and most of October. Whither? Destination tba. Cheers Gwen Pertisau is where we are stopping, we usually stop at Maurach. So not looking for school girls in navy blue knickers just aged school girls in navy blue bloomers, that's been noted Gwen thank you. Lovely area with two campsites there but there is another one at the top end of the lake at Archenkirch which is a lot nicer if anyone is intrested. Symbol Owner
nowtelse2do - 2013-08-05 8:32 PM So where are you others off to? Dave Cornwall -- we hope -- each time that we have been off in the 'van this year (the Gower & Suffolk) I have had a 'flare' of this bl**dy psoriatic arthritis, but, all being well, the new medication (plus a steroid injection up my b*m!) that the consultant prescribed yesterday will have it under control by the time that the school hols. finish and we might get a nice 'Indian summer' in Sept. -- here's hoping folks! Cheers, Dave (nowtelse etc.) And best wishes for your speedy rcovery, Dave (Pelmatman) Colin.
nowtelse2do
Colin, please don't mention b*ms, and especially with the word steroids in close proximity, I don't want this thread going down the B&B route. :-D Dave
