Who on this forum makes you smile and laugh the most?

I don't much go for polls as they always seem to foment yet more squabbles, but maybe as this is Chatterbox we can comment on whose postings are consistently the most humourous - so come on guys and gals, whose postings do you enjoy reading and who makes you laugh and smile the most?

Now what can be divisive about a discussion of humour - eh?

No question, Richard, the sad fact is that it is the regular poster who has just left us because of all of the nonsense and bickering who provided the the best humorous/quirky posts -- Jeremy 'Laime duck', sadly.

With him gone we only have Syd's jokes to look forward to!

Cheers,

Colin.

Antony 1969 had me and my missus in stitches with "flowers for 1foot thread" :D

Sadly for some on here I arose from the dead. :-(

Pelmetman does make me laugh from time to time as well, the biggest laugh being what on earth would he do in his spare time if these forums did not exist, go back to making pelmets I guess. :-S

Surprisingly Had Enough. Apart from his constant bickering he does come out with some gems. Particularly in response to someone having a jovial pop at him. But he was more humorous in his previous life as Frank Wilkinson. Come back Frank I preferred you before. :D

I think I prefer your new "Zombie" self 1 foot! - Are you a Stumbler or a Runner?

World War Z is worth a read - the film is a great disappointment apparently (I have not seen it yet) to those who have read the book.

I agree Clive, films are always a disappointment.

After reading on here how HE is always having to go out to society meetings and dinners with important and successful friends, I commissioned a private detective to follow him and get some evidence down on film.

This is what he came back with.................................

Blimey, he really does look like the living dead. ;-) Mind you I reckon she could bring any bloke back to life. ;-)

Not sure if I can say that though.

OK I admit it. That's me when I was much younger. My mates and I used to love going to gay bars in Cardiff. They were full of middle-aged slappers who'd come down from the valleys for, what for them, compared to the Women's Institute meetings in Pontypridd, was a wildly sophisticated and exciting night.

We never failed to pull! They thought we were gay and so convinced where they of their allure that they'd bend over backwards to try to convert us! To be fair, at my age I found the bending over backwards position, that they obviously enjoyed, a bit of a strain.

Just a point though, I never mentioned that I have important and successful friends coming for dinner. That's just another figment of your imagination. In a debate on smoking I mentioned that I'd some friends coming round that evening and, as they were intelligent people, no one would be going home reeking of smoke. Still, never let the truth get in the way of a bit of bitchy stirring eh?

My ambition though is to be a member of an important 'Breakfast Business Club' or as we call them up here, Probus! ;-)

Ah well, I tried to inject a bit of humour but obviously failed.

Ahhh I get it now. your smilies make it a humourous post, but mine make it offensive and abusive.

I'll try to remember for the future. *-)

And I thought you wasn't going to reply to my posts................Short term memory loss maybe?

I appreciate a good sense of humour, and most forumites seem to have one somewhere..............

Particular posters who tickle my nautical fancy are :->.........

Syd & Donna for the jokes they post..............especially the bawdy ones (lol).........

Peter for his rude dude persona and wicked avatar's..................although I note his blue shirt has come back from the cleaners :D.............

HE........ hides it well :-S.............although when he gets it out 8-)...........Its quite acerbic in taste >:-)......

But most of all MalcD who manages to use so few words..... yet manages to say so much...... and hits my giggle spot every time B-)

No, I said that I'd had enough of the last topic. This is a new one.

Once more Donna, you started this, it wasn't me. Not only couldn't you resist having yet another pop at me but you trawl the net for a suitable picture to accompany your silly post.

Now if you can't take it, stop dishing it out. I thought you might have learned by now as you always end up looking a bit daft! Now give it a rest please. If you have a pop at me you know I'll respond.

I can only assume you enjoy this stirring and that somehow it gives you pleasure.

Ps I thought my response was quite humorous!
