Hi all

I have set up a forum for Ace Milano owners, the idea is that we can discuss any good or bad points about them. Also any alterations etc etc

So if you have owned one / do own one or know anyone that owns one please post something, if even just to tell me to get lost

hope this is not against the rules

thanks

thanks for the reply, I am a member of the swift forum but never get many if any replies to posts re older motorhomes or anything specific to my own one hence trying to find others who own same model but I take the point about all ace motorhomes.

probably end up getting banned from all the forums

How about putting your van details in your profile, so others will know, if they have something in common. We have a swift so probably some of the same features, as yours, and I believe we considered the Milano, but can't remember why , (Is it a 2 berth?) we did not go for it.

I've never understood why mentioning other forums should be considered taboo (though I notice that "Jim", the ringleader of the MotorhomeFun website thinks otherwise regarding your posting). I can't find anything in this forum's Acceptable Use Policy to say one should not do it and I cross-reference to other forums all the time. In fact I'm going to do it now by pointing out that the MotorHome Facts website has a section of its forums dedicated to Ace motorhomes

http://www.motorhomefacts.com/forum-195.html

As will be evident the number of entries is small, but that's what one might anticipate.

Fine, a bit of a 'narrow' forum though why not all Ace motorhomes ? Ray

PS is there such a thing as an 'Autotrail' forum ? anyone know.

There's a dedicated Auto-Trail section amongst the MHF forums. There's also an Auto-Trail Owners' Club website, but that has no forum.

Forum's need a reasonable number of participants to produce a useful critical mass and Ron may well find that an Ace Milano-only forum (or even an Ace-brand-only forum) won't generate enough activity to hold people's interest long-term. There's also the ever-present risk of abusive postings on real-time forums, which is why clubs may choose not to have forums on their websites.
