antony1969 Posted August 13, 2013 Posted August 13, 2013 Another tragic case it seems of two young girls been threatened to carry drugs in luggage to Spain .................... or could it be they were after a quick buck ? I know which I believe .
Tracker Posted August 13, 2013 Posted August 13, 2013 I don't 'believe' anything yet as insufficient information has emerged to be able to tell - and even when it does it may well be doctored news - so I ain't jumping to any conclusions?

In fact make that a £1.00 .
Guest pelmetman Posted August 13, 2013 Posted August 13, 2013 Why would anyone who looks like Mickey Mouse want to carry drugs? :-S...........

antony1969 Posted August 13, 2013 Author Posted August 13, 2013 At least the weathers better in Peru and the coffee's good . Not that bad after all .
colin Posted August 13, 2013 Posted August 13, 2013 Whilst I wouldn't be surprised if a drug gang threatened some one to get them to carry drugs, the fact that their families had no idea they where in Peru seems mighty suspicious to me, unless that is they say they where threatened in Majorca, but that doesn't seem to be the case.
enodreven Posted August 15, 2013 Posted August 15, 2013 What amazes me is the rush to defend these people that are caught smuggling drugs, not just this case but most of the others over the years, and without being sexist it alwasy seems when women are involved, I appreciate that perhaps women don't commit as many crimes as men, they still do commit them. You can't blame the people who are caught from crying out there inocents, but these countries have laws and systems which we may not like, and the old saying when in Rome comes to mind,. It does make you wonder just when these people were going to tell the authorities that they were suposedly being threaterned as i didn't see anyone standing next to them with a gun other than perhaps the police officers.
antony1969 Posted August 17, 2013 Author Posted August 17, 2013 As I thought Spanish police state that the silly money hungry girls arrested were not as they claim forced to carry drugs . With luck our government won't stick its nose in and plead for reduced or home sentences for these drug runners . Lock em up and forget about em .
Guest 1footinthegrave Posted August 18, 2013 Posted August 18, 2013 I thought the same about the Birmingham 6, and the Guildford 4, I'd have strung the lot of them up. :-S oops 8-)

nightrider Posted August 19, 2013 Posted August 19, 2013 Those girls knew what they were doing, they got caught and now they will pay the price, I have no sympathy at all.
donna miller Posted August 19, 2013 Posted August 19, 2013 It's been reported that despite their claims that they only met when they were 'kidnapped' that they actually shared an apartment, and that after their arrival in Peru, a taxi driver took them sightseeing and shopping for 3 days. Hardly the actions of 2 women in absolute fear for their lives.

Lets not be so quick to judge ;-)

Never mind WE are BRITS ! THEY won't convict us!!! Tough Titty Kitty!! Guess What? You're in the nick for a good few years, AND not in the UK , IN PERU! European Human Rights Act??? Forget it, you will spend a good few years in a Peruvian s**thole, and Babe!!! you'll deserve every minute!!! I will bet almost a pound that if convicted they will be back serving the rest of the sentence within five years in one of our hotels and then released nice and early just in time for the film/book to come out about the horrible ordeal these two innocents have been through . Lets see which publicity starved politician will become the public mouthpiece for the two .
