I have been advised the following by someone who is on both forums but does not want to become a target for YH's bile and so wishes to remain un-named, but they are unsure how long the ban is for on this occasion.

 

I won't add this to an existing thread as it may well get pulled and if this little bit of fact breaches this forum's rules, my apologies to the moderators.

This suggests that I made an error of judgement in offering YH peaceful coexistence last night and I humbly apologise to any members of this forum who might have been offended by this.

But it did at least serve to confirm his attitude towards others!

Three points:-

 

1. Do we really need the 'outcasts' from other forums on here?

 

2. Are such 'rotten apples' only here (and causing trouble) because they think that they can get away with it on a forum that is not 'policed' as tightly as some (maybe most) others?

 

3. The activities of an honourable long-term member of this Forum (BGD) have been much discussed here recently, partly because he was said to have been 'banned' from 'Fun'.

 

All very relevant in my view, Malc.

Ah well - we must just disagree.

 

I have no interest whatsoever in how people behave on other forums - and I have no interest in knowing who is / is not banned on other forums, and for how long.

 

( ...and I can't possibly guess Trackers anonymous contact who asked him to mention BGDs name. ).

 

 

It's my view that if trolls were ignored on this forum they would soon give up - but unfortunately - on this forum - they are not.

 

I hope the mods on this forum will pull this thread as it's only purpose seems to me to stir up / prolong

the current unpleasantness.

 

Maybe it's me that's in the wrong place ?

Actually Malc two names were mentioned and I cannot deny that the member who gave me the info is known personally to Bruce but not to YH.

 

Incidentally the MHF ban was for the use of threatening behaviour which was found to be unacceptable on MHF - pity it isn't so on here?

 

But I do agree trolls are best ignored and that is what is happening by many, but silly me misguidedly tried to start an outbreak of peace which seems to have only made it worse?

Anybody got a rifle with decent night vision sight I can borrow . Am going hunting weekend and with a bit of luck one clear shot to the brain will down my target . Admittedly its a very very small target .

P.S am willing to do a 20 year stretch or can share a cell with others who may want to join me .

There were a whole string of threats of physical violence against several members Colin, even the ladies as I recall with most of us being disgusted at the time but unfortunately nobody in authority seemed to notice, or if they did, seemed to care about the breaches in forum rules?

 

Like you I find threats and attempted intimidation totally unacceptable in any walk of life and it was all those threats that finally turned everyone to dislike what up to then had been a harmless irritation.

 

The lack of apology for his behaviour from YH says it all.
