I developed a device that allow to control the Truma Combi by IR Remote Control and SMS

Here are the main features of the MRC device:

 

1)complete control of Truma Combi by IR remote Control

 

2)complete control of Truma Combi by SMS

 

3)notification of the fault status of the Combi by SMS

 

4)remote inquiry of the state of the TRUMA

 

5)notification of the opening of the valve ELASI by SMS

 

6)SMS notification of 220V drop power supply

 

7)control a Relay by SMS

 

8)remote inquiry of the state of the relay by SMS

 

9)SMS notification of alarm camper theft or intrusion

 

10)24H thermostat or a single activation

 

11)availability of Android App for control the device

For the record, Mirko's device is designed to remotely control now-obsolete Truma C-Series 'combination' heaters (C-3402, C-4002 and C-6002 appliances) NOT current-model Truma "Combi" heaters.

 

C-Series Truma heaters were/are commonly referred to as 'combis' (because they combine water- and blown-air heating). When Truma introduced in mid-2007 a completely different design of 'combination' heater to replace the C-Series, in their infinite wisdom they chose to name the new range "Combi". This decision was bound to lead to confusion and regularly does!
