Campsite near Marseille France

We are wanting to visit Marseille in September and would welcome recommendations for either campsites or aires that are near enough to walk or close to public transport..

we have visited Marseille a couple of times over the years, and certainly would not take the motorhome anywhere near there. We stayed at Aix-en-Provence, from there you can catch an express bus direct to Marseille. There are a couple of sites at Aix, which itself is a lovely city to visit, and you can either walk into the city or I think catch a bus if necessary.

Sites are as follows, though there may be others:

 

Airotel Camping Chantecler, Val St Andre 13100 ( www.campingchantecler.com )...this is where we stayed and is an easy walk into town and bus for Marseille

or

Camping L'Arc-en-ciel, Ave Henry Malacrida,Pont des 3 Sautets, 13100 ( www.campingarcencielcom )

 

Both are listed in CC Overseas Camping Guide, amongst other publications.
