gwyn Posted August 25, 2013 Posted August 25, 2013 We're off again on our travels heading in the direction of Spain but starting from Calais. Weather permitting we intend to cross into Spain at Biarritz and hopefully pull in Pamplona and Zaragoza before arriving at the coast and following the sun. For the first time we are intending to try the P&R at Canterbury for the night tomorrow and may even chance an aire while we are away which will be a first for us and get to try out our new to us 26" folding bikes.
Pampam Posted August 25, 2013 Posted August 25, 2013 I hope you have a lovely time am looking forward to going"abroad" myself next year have used nearly all my hols up this year. Enjoy . Pp
gwyn Posted August 25, 2013 Author Posted August 25, 2013 Oh forgot to say,if anyone spots us with our 'old age travelers' logo please say hallo.
flicka Posted August 25, 2013 Posted August 25, 2013 Hi Gwyn - Canterbury P&R maybe quite busy (bank holiday traffic) so an early arrival would be prudent as there are only 26 spaces in the Motorhomes area. Have a great trip.
Pampam Posted August 26, 2013 Posted August 26, 2013 Hey gwyn were you at sandringham earlier this year about march time ? Because I saw a n old age traveller logo there. .pp
gwyn Posted September 3, 2013 Author Posted September 3, 2013 Canterbury p&r was absolutely fine it was quite busy by 8pm but never totally full. Easy to use about 50% foreign vans and talking to the chap at the information place, apparently they've bought some more land for a coach park intending it as an overspill for motorhomes. Still just in France but crossing over tomorrow to Spain. No we weren't at Sandringham.....how dare someone copy us lol.
