mabel mondial
Ok, think of me as sad, but the motorhome featured in Coronation St. has suddenly changed from a Swift to an Autotrail. Please can anyone confirm my observations at the same time admitting to regularly watching said programme too? :-D
lennyhb
Sorry not sad enough to watch soaps, but in the "Ice Cream Girls drama" a Volvo X70 managed to change it's numberplate while driving along all done in less than a 100yds. :D
Colin Leake
I think the Swift fell apart due to the cobbles in the street.

susie1997
I'm sad enough to watch that soap and I have noticed the chance, it used to be an Autotrail then it was a swift now it's an Autotrail again ooo it's exciting. I'm gutted we won't be able to watch it in the winter while in Portugal. Never mind I have recorded lots of stuff ready and to miss my favorite show. These people are real you know! *-)
Merlin1
I noticed the change too :-D Looks like a nice van - wonder who supplied it ? They used a 1979 VW Devon Moonraker last year. It was beige but had been painted with "fake rust". I recently spotted it for sale....
RogerC
Colin Leake - 2013-08-29 1:47 AMI think the Swift fell apart due to the cobbles in the street. Given the recent plots wouldn't 'cobblers' be more appropriate? :-)
Wills Wagon
It is and Auto-Trail Scout have seen it for about 6 months.

Colin Leake
Given that it is over 3,500 I cant help wondering if her license covers her to drive it. If not will we see here being arrested and her motorhome towed away?

Mrs T
Perhaps the ending will be when they all cram into the M/H and drive off the quay.

tugga
I know, in the movie series of Twilight Edward Cullen was driving a Volvo silver sports car in the first movie Twilight but in the second movie, New Moon it had changed to a black Volvo 4x4. And they think us fans won't notice - durr!! :-S
Colin Leake
In the end it crashes into a bus, catches fire, explodes then lands in the canal. As far as I know it has yet to be decided which of the cast will be presented with their P45s when this happens. I vote for Gail she's been getting on my tits for some time now. It won't be Carl because he's sent to prison before it happens.

Mrs T
Is it seen in the background or do they actually use it and drive it. I thought the programme was only about a Street and not any road traffic?
Guest JudgeMental
I once owned a really nice VW beetle.....and many years later, probably more than 20.... I saw it on a TV comedy show being used as a TV prop on a stage......
