looking for 1st motorhome

I'm looking at geating a motorhome from Germany. I have read loads of do'es and don'ts I like the low profile hobbys, hymers. looking at taking a year out and do some serious traveling, solo at the moment. any advice would be welcome.

Have a look at www.go-motorhoming.co.uk and consider buying the book entitled "Go Motorhoming Europe", available via the same site. 

I'm still reading my copy, but am finding it povides a wealth of valuable information on virtually all aspects of choosing, buying, and using, motorhomes.  (I'll freely admit to bias, because it reaches almost all the same conclusions I have reached - albeit not always by the same route or for the same reasons!  Still, there's nothing so comforting as having your own prejudices fed!) 

When you get the book, read it from cover to cover, then have a think!  Then you can start dipping back into it to refer to the bits that are most relevant/interesting.  It really could save you a great deal of time/money!
