alanmac
I have a 2007 Burstner Delfin 2.5TD on the Renault master base.. In France recently I managed to snap one of the handbrake cables. Today my local Renault dealer examined the cables and said they were not Renault items but if i can get replacements he will fit them. Not sure if i should be chasing Alko or Burstner for replacements. Just been looking on internet and web sites for Alko and Burstner no real help. Can anyone help please and point me in correct direction.. If not I will have to fill in one of the web " question" pages as they do not provide a Tel No. - Progress, I suppose.! Bolly1965
If it's on an Alko chassis then it's most likely to be an Alko cable. Alko handbrake cables are prone to stretching. Mine on my 2006 Bessacarr had to be replaced at MOT time this year. Took about a week to get the cable from Alko.
