Brock
Having trouble adjusting the coach style wing mirrors on my A class motorhome. Don't seem able to get as good a view as I did on my previous A class motorhome which had the standard wing mirror plus, on the passenger side, a good sized wide angle mirror. The normal mirror are electrically adjusted and I have managed to get these to provide a decent view with my van visible in a little less than a quarter of the mirror. The wide angle lenses are manually adjusted and seem to want to focus solely on the kerb! Am I doing this all wrong as they are coachstyle mirrors? Should I use the smaller mirror to focus on the kerb and close vehicles and the bigger mirror for the wider views?
Brock
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_O0169nqk_w Found the answer here. Probably best moved to hints and tips now. Sorry, don't know how to insert a hyperlink and the search engine didn't through up the methodology.
yeti
Thanks for that link very useful. Also the 'drop arms' on the Hymer mirrors can be adjusted with an Allen key at the top of the arm where it enters the body, but generally not necessary unless you are very tall or very small. Brock
Thanks. Got the ladders out and had a look but didn't make any changes.
