Skillet

I believe she has retired and the skillets are not available anywhere else. Pity really because if anyone could find out where they were made and import them they would have a ggod little business judging by the amount of people who have been asking about them on other forums.

How much!!!

Don't bother, buy a good pan from a local store and put the rest of the money towards your food bill.

Honestly we bought one at a show, used it once and then it stayed in the cupboard under the cooker under we got rid of it!

Totally disagree with the above comment. We have had a skillet for 4 years and would not be without it. We had a problem a couple of years ago and the lady replaced it totally free of charge. I think the company is called DF Promotions & I thought we saw her at the Peterboro show earlier this year

Good luck -it is worth trying to find them

Bob

I've even started sitting at nights without the lights on watching telly : just like I used to tell my mum OFF for doing lol and potted meat sandwiches have made a big come back in our house . Forget the dish washer these last two night have had log burner on with copper kettles and used water to wash up !! Just call me frugal sharkey (undertones) lol pp. (what recession?)

Looks like they are still available on line at http://www.doubleskillet.com/

A note under the "contact Us" says they are moving office - maybe this is why there is no reply on the 'phone.

That website has been saying about moving office for well over a year and the websites date is 2009. They did in fact move to address in Norfolk which I can't remember. The list of shows being attended is also only 2010 shows. She was listed as a stall-holder on Malvern Show a few weeks ago but she didn't turn up.

She is listed as an exhibitor at Shepton this coming weekend and if she is there I will get her contact details. Speaking to her last year she talked of moving south and semiretiring though doing a show or two for old times sake.

She told me that the pans are made in Birmingham but showed little interest when I suggested might like to take the business on.

Have you checked the exhibitor list on the "Shepton Motorhome Show 2013" website as there may be contact details listed.

Hi,

Some good news for all looking for the double skillet! We ordered one from their website about 4weeks ago. A bit apprehensive considering all the comments that have been written about them, so we were not holding out a lot of hope! But, bingo it arrived today all neatly packaged and just what we wanted so if you want one then take a chance and order from their site www.doubleskillet.com. It's an old site but they seem to eventually get round to sending one. Pay by paypal and you have 68days cover.

I hope this helps you hymerwoman.

Ned

Though listed in the programme and there was a space allocated she did not attend but we heard that another exhibitor was not there as they had double booked not realising the Shepton show was a week earlier than usual. See on the internet that she has moved to an adress in Kent from Norfolk so an old fashioned letter could be written to check the situation out before ordering.
