arthurhooper2
The clutch on my Ducato has failed at 20,000 miles and two months out of warranty. Fiat are refusing any goodwill payments. Has anybody else had early clutch failure with the Ducato?
Southender
Maybe you are riding the clutch ? Mines 7 years old and 41,000 miles and still fine.
docted
Arthur you do not tell us how old the van is, engine size and conversion type. All this info will help posters to deal with your enquiry and give you the best possible advice.
BrianBW
Mines 16 years old, 93,000 miles on the clock. You will have to have it removed so any damage can be assessed and Fiat informed.
Guest Peter James
20,000 miles is very low for a commercial van clutch unless it has been slipped too much. Being a Dual Mass flywheel on all except the basic 100bhp model there is much less metal to absorb heat, so slipping the clutch too much will overheat it much more quickly.
