John 47
fairweather camper - 2013-09-18 8:42 PM Hi We will be in southern Spain at Easter and would like to know a good town to celebrate the festivities, somewhere with a good campsite, or good Aire or parking, any ideas ? Val There is a good aire at Puerto Gelves, Seville - about 15 euros per night, including electricity and showers - and Seville is a 15 minute bus ride away (regular bus service). Seville is probably one of the best places to experience Semana Santa in Spain but the aire is very popular and you may have difficulty getting on to it at Easter. We have also been to Semana Santa in Almeria and there is plenty of space to stay overnight on the car park at the port (10 minutes walk to the town centre). The overnight charge for motorhomes is 5 euros and there are toilets and a water supply. But wherever you end up in Andalucía you will probably not be too far away from a fascinating Easter experience. Have a good trip.

Paul M Who
Can highly recommend Puerto Gelves. Excellent Aire with good facilities. The onsite Taverna and Restaurant are also highly recommended. There are two large supermarkets on the bus ride to town as well. Can't think of a better place in Spain to celebrate Easter. Have a great holiday.
