Guest peter
Hello all, I am looking to fit a towbar to my Rapido 710f and would like to know if I can fit a normal Fiat Ducato bar as there is virtually no overhang and it is built on the Std chassis and platform. w1ntersun
HI, Check with Brownhills Newark they are the Rapido distribitors. Most M/Hs have heavy duty towbars because they are not always towing but carrying, they also act as a body protection bar if some one ran into the back of you. tonyishuk
PWS @ Pool make up towbars from there template stock. Although when I wanted a bar for my Rapido 709F (5.5 m Ducato van base) it was suggested that I drop in to make sure of the details. Plan B. I understand that a Ducato Van towbar will fit after it has been modified by cutting and adding a few inches to its length. I was told that a towbar firm in GuildFord will mod and fit it. Seems like a good time to travel south for a week and find out ! :-D

Mel B
Make sure that you check out other firms as you don't necessarily need a motorhome dealership to get one, it may in fact turn out cheaper to go straight to an engineering company rather than through a dealership.
