Sydney1
This might do the trick, although bit heavier than some http://www.bowenawnings.co.uk/awnings/starcamp/challenger.html We use ours in the winter months to dry off the dog and store wet stuff. Fabric is heavy duty and you can get an extension piece if you think you need it to get the height.
Mel B
Hi Norman, I believe you have a wind-out awning as standard on your MH, in which case you may instead wish to consider a safari room instead which utilises this, you then wouldn't have any problem with the habitation door hitting any framework. Guest peter
Sorry Mel, but safari rooms are a complete disaster. They weigh a ton, take up a lot of storage space and are a nightmare to put up because of their bulk. One that fits on the awning rail would be better, we have an Outdoor Revolution one and it's great, and goes up really quick and weighs next to nothing. Beebee007
Hi all thanks for replying. I have to agree the Fiamma safari rooms are a disaster we have tryed one. Since posting this a freind who is involved with caravan sales recommended a Sun Camp awning which he is trying to get so I can try before buy. JonMac46
Just wondering how people get up there to attach these temporary awnings? We have an overcab and I'd need a ladder [OK I'm a bit short at 5' 7"]
