hymerwoman
Which led light would you fit in a shower room, warm or cool . I have just one warm led light which does not seem bright enough as it is fitted in one corner. Would changing to a cool led light be any better. Your advice greatly appreciated. Dr Dave
We have the cool white leds in the bathroom, garage, awning and kitchen areas as they have better colour rendering (perhaps slightly on the blue side) and warm white everywhere else. lennyhb
The cool white LED's give an earry sort of light that is not that good for general visibility. A better option would be to fit a better warm white LED. You don't say what type of LED bulb or the number in the shower, the ones with SMD (surface mount device ) LED's give a better spread of light go for ones with at least 12 or 15 SMD chips on them, they give the best coverage and tend to be very bright. Avoid the ones that look like a group of conventional LED's. Example of SMD LED
