johnnerontheroad Posted October 30, 2013 Share Posted October 30, 2013 I have an in line Surflo Trail King 7 water pump and it has started to pulse, it is worse on hot (Alde system) not so bad on cold and mixed. Derek Uzzell Posted October 30, 2013 Share Posted October 30, 2013 There are a number of possibilities that might cause 'pulsing' and a dirty filter is one of them. If you clean the filter and the pulsing stops, you won't have to look further. If it makes no difference, you'll have to continue to investigate. Rayjsj Posted October 30, 2013 Share Posted October 30, 2013 The shurflo pump in my van 'Pulsed' from new, I tried adjustment as it said in the book, to no avail. So, I fitted an Accumulator inline : http://legacy.shurflo.com/pages/Food_Service/beverage/accumulator_tanks/tanks.html It solved the problem, but methinks it shouldn't have pulsed in the first place. Will have a go at the filter when I get home and can drain down, it looks like the original pump and van is nearly 18 years old. Thanks Derek.
