Barryd999 Posted November 7, 2013 Share Posted November 7, 2013 I havent posted about this as I thought it was in hand but a few weeks ago I managed to shatter the glass on the oven door in the motorhome. :cry: Its a Stoves 2200 oven in a 1996 Swift Kontiki and its dark green. I dont know if Stoves still exist. I have tried O'learys and emailed a few motorhome parts places but so far come up blank. Does anyone know where I will get one? If I cant get one do you think I could just take the door off and take to a specialist glass place or something? I think it will be either a breakers or a specialist place. Suspect it will be an uphill struggle as usual! lennyhb Posted November 7, 2013 Share Posted November 7, 2013 Try a local glass shop they should be able to get one made to order, had the same problem with a glass panel in a gas fire a few years ago, be warned it won't be cheap. kelly58 Posted November 7, 2013 Share Posted November 7, 2013 We had the glass top on the cooker hob " Explode " of its own accord and found a glass company who made a piece of toughened glass to fit for a fraction of the replacement price its worth a ring around and ask your local glass suppliers.
