whatsupdoc
Does anyone know where the lever/tap/button for the hot water tank drain is on a Chausson Flash 04 (2013). I've looked at all of the pipes leading to/from the tank, but no luck. Lowdhams (Chausson dealers, where we bought the van) don't know (surprising?) Mel B
When we had a CF04 (2010) there were some levers in the pipes accessed via the garage. They were under the triangular bottom base of the shelving unit just inside the offiside garage door. See picture below:
Hawcara
In the garage right hand site, exactly where Mel has it, under the lid with the finger hole in it. If you run the tap even when the tank is empty then a few extra drops will be expelled that could possibly freeze. :-D

(At least they could put a sticker there indicating it's location!)

You also need to remove the top on the compartment where the water pump is (assuming it's still under the dinette table!) and unscrew the plastic 'globe thing' (don't know technical term! :D ) that's attached to the pipe/pump and tip the water out of that too. Whilst you're there, I'd also suggest getting some insulation/bubble wrap and putting it round the pipes and pump to give it a bit of protection in case there is some water trapped somewhere. :-D
ips
And open "ALL" taps (put them half way hot / cold this will drain quicker and help in not trapping any water in the pipes. Also check the shower hose hasn't got any water left in it.
Derek Uzzell
I notice that draining a Flash 04's FRESH-WATER tank was discussed here http://www.outandaboutlive.co.uk/forums/Motorhomes/Motorhome-Matters/Chausson-Flash-04-freshwater-drain-tap/24878/ For the 2014 model-year, the "Flash 04" becomes the "BEST OF 04" and (I think) air and water heating are both diesel-fuelled.
