Thinking of a new T5 perhaps ?

After the first one thousand miles the mpg shows a distinct 38.8 according to the figures displayed, this includes hills and motorways at speeds up to 70 but not consistently at that speed !

 

There is often a feeling that it should be in a lower gear but it doesn't hunt so presumably that's how its designed and I will have to adapt to the different sounds.

 

I would expect a better consumption as the mileage increases
