whisturx Posted August 25, 2006 Share Posted August 25, 2006 I want to fit a tow bar to a Hobby 750 on an ALko chassis with a "nudge bar " that covers the rear of the van. The ball needs to be unboltable as I intend to either carry a bike rack or scooter rack. Scooter preferably but the thought of a bike test at this time of life ......or alternatively the wife will have to walk if I go for 50cc as no passengers !! Some I have seen have been like an RSJ at the rear . Any recommended suppliers in the South West and prices? Every supplier of anything appears to be up North obviously more money up there !! Clive Posted August 25, 2006 Share Posted August 25, 2006 I believe the AlCo chassis stretches to the back of the body. So fitting a towbar is not that difficult. I believe AlCo do one of their own or alternatively you could get one Bespoke made like we did. Newark Vehicle Bodies who did the business for us. Good luck C.
