Antony
We have done a lot of research over the last year into the replacement for our much-loved but ageing VW Transporter. We narrowed it down to the Murvi Morello, Autosleeper Ford Duetto or Peugeot Symbol. We have just ruled the Murvi out for the time being and have found a nearly-new Duetto which we have test-driven and crawled all over. Apart from finding it rather noisier than our old rear-engined bus we can't find much else to deter us. Any views and info would be most welcome, BUT PLEASE MAKE IT QUICK or we will miss the good deal we think we have found! Thanks.
peterjl
Hi we have just changed our 52 plate duetto for a Hobby. We loved the Duetto (the only reasons for changing was, most importantly, winterisation (i want to go skiing in the alps) + there were a couple of nice to haves like cab aircon. We had ours 1 year old & 10,000 miles on clock. It ran faultlessy for the next 13,000 miles till we exchanged it. It took us all over French & Spanish Pyrenees (including some very narrow and steep roads) twice, across france, into italy and switzerland - not to mention scotland, lakes, devon etc. Heater worked well in the cold. The only down side was having to stand on your head to switch water heater on/off. A great home. Peter

alistair
I'd be interested to know why you ruled out the Murvi. It's on our shopping list, along with the Duetto and Topaz, and possibly the Holdsworth Sonata if I can find out anything about them.
