Mike B.
It's probably the wind blowing it off signal- not surprising in these terrible gales. Will probably be fine once it improves. Ours at home keeps losing signal at moment so what chance has rthe van got? Mike
lennyhb
It will just be the dish moving in the wind, in current weather I wouldn't even think about putting my 85cm Oyster up.
Den
I suggest modelmaker you go to Spain. It's warmer, less windy, quieter, Silly me, your sat won't work there.
Mad Mitch
I'm not sure about smaller satellite dishes, but there is no problem receiving channels in southern Spain - Cabopino in our case, (apart from Channel 5), using our 85cm dish currently, and there won't be until February / March. It all depends on commissioning dates for the new Astra satellite, as covered by other threads. Mad Mitch
