laimeduck
I have 2 mystery brackets on the off side of my motorhome. I cannot work out what they were for? I would guess some sort of washing line fitting? Any suggestions?
malc d
They are TV arial brackets. A vertical aluminium pole attaches to the brackets and the antennae fits on top of the pole. I've got 'em on my van - but no longer take a TV. ;-)
Keithl
Jeremy, As previously stated they are TV aerial brackets, or more precisely Status Uni-Plates. Link to Status. They are only self adhesive brackets so shouldn't be too hard to remove if you so desire, or buy the brackets for them and make use of them. Keith. laimeduck
Many thanks Guys! We don't use/have a TV so they are redundant. They do no harm so I will probably leave them alone, but how would I get them off - soak in WD40 or similar?
malc d
Here's the full set -up. I'd leave them on there if I were you. You never know - one day TV programmes might improve. :-D
Rayjsj
Yes, here they are in the 'Flesh' http://www.visionplus.co.uk/shop/uni-plate.html If you want them off, i would carefully lever them off using a plastic spatula, then clean the adhesive off with WD40 or Isopropol Alchohol. Billggski
Warm them up with a hair dryer first, they should then peel off easily.
