horse444
having toured Europe n uk for ten years with motorhome(sometimes towing car) due to disabilities we are finding it increasingly difficult to find suitable parking/sites to meet our needs. We have Auto trail Dakota (that we both love) 6th berth. We are thinking of selling an buying a caravan. as we drive a 4x4 daily so it more than adequate for towing. What are ur thoughts. We cannot consider small motorhome as too restrictive *-) we did have caravans before motorhome, but I personally don't fancy towing again, but hubby doesn't mind, it would b mainly in Europe. :-)
tonyishuk
If I had the money, I would have a VW sized m/camper for days out and tow a caravan with a fixed bed. Sort of best of both worlds. Rgds
takeaflight
On several occasions while in France we have meet couples with caravans, that store them there, and simply drive to pick them usually staying a couple of days on the site where they are stored, then hitch up and off they jolly go. The last couple in Oleron bought theirs of Ebay for £3000 looked Ok to me. Made us think, had a word with reception on the site and sure enough we could store one their for around E250 a year.
