lennyhb
Gas-it sell Stako Cylinders which are made in Poland. Stako 4 hole cylinders have a level gauge in the top of the tank which is fairly accurate for the whole contents of the tank which give them a slight edge over Gaslow, you can also fit a remote level gauge. gocro
Gaslow products are often found at accessory shops whereas Gas-It are mostly online.Gas-It also sell identical cylinders as Gaslow at a lower price and their service is generally excellent. Derek Uzzell
GAS IT and Gaslow each market two ranges of user-refillable gas-bottle. GAS-IT's 'basic' bottle is a 2-hole type with a magnetically-operated contents gauge (generally acknowledged as providing questionable accuracy and with a relatively limited scope). Gaslow sells a similar design of 2-hole bottle but has dropped the magnetically-operated contents gauge from it due to users' complaints. Both companies offer bottles with mechanical contents-level gauges. Gaslow's is shown on this link http://www.gaslowdirect.com/Gaslow-R67-11kg-Refillable-Cylinder-No and GAS IT's equivalent is shown here http://www.gasit.co.uk/index.php?_a=product&product_id=74 User-refillable ALUGAS-branded metal bottles are also available http://www.autogas.co.uk/alugas-cylinders.htm http://www.autogasshop.co.uk/alugas-lightweight-refillable-lpg-cylinder-with-gauge-3-hole-405-p.asp Hard to advise on which is best. The cost of a refillable-bottle system will depend on the components chosen (one or two bottles, stainless or 'rubber' hoses, etc.) and whether or not the installation is DIY. starvin marvin
If anyone's interested I've got a Stako 6kg for sale which is full of gas, this is after a change of van. No hoses or filler points as I used these on the "not now so new van".
