arjxh56
Can anyone tell me whether or not the fridge burner inspection hatch should be closed, on vent, or open when in use? If I take the bottom external vent cover off the van I can see the little burner unit on the bottom right. It has a small hatch that swings back and forth, i assume to inspect the burner? It is very stiff and so can be set open fully, open partially, completely closed or there is a small slot in the hatch to enable it to be closed but have a very small vent window?? Any ideas? erneboy
It's the same as a Norcold RV fridge I think. Look on youtube (for Norcold, same company as Thetford I believe) there are plenty of videos. Try this one: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e3K0fQxqiuc outwardly the fridge is different, American style but wait till he goes outside to look at the burner, Alan. Dave Newell
It sshould be closed in normal operation, it is there purely as an inspection window. D.
