RogerC
Duvalay....we bought one at the Malvern Show, custom cut to match the shape of our bed and can highly recommend them. Excellent service and very comfortable. Oh and they are heavy......
AliB
A proper sprung mattress. The toppers just soften and smooth out a mattress. You probably need something with firm support.
mel64
Duvalay ever time helped my back and hip.
gocro
I used these people when fabricating my own 'Duvalays' http://tinyurl.com/nfpuodq 1-4" thick up to king size. Cheap as chips, if it doesn't suite you can always make cushions out of it.
hallii
I have a (slightly) bad back, I found that the memory foam topper we used to use was to hot and made my back worse. Good firm support is what is needed, 'ard as nails, at least for me! H
lennyhb
The sprung mattress on our Hymer is like sleeping on a board I like it OH found it far too hard for her 7stone, brought a cheap 1" memory foam topper on ebay transformed the bed & still going strong after 5 years. Guest peter
Dunelm, we've got quite a few. Nowhere as expensive as Duvalay. £99.00 IIRC.
tonyishuk
We had a couple from Argos, Don't go for their cheaper range which are sheets of memory foam. You need some form of ventilation around your body and the toppers we have had in the past have either a top with cubes and rectangles on the top surface or a deep patterned swirls. As said by others, you do need a suitable supporting mattress underneath a topper on its own might not do the job you want. Rgds
