Pete-B
We're going away next Sunday the 30th for 12 days which will bring us into, about, mid April. The van will then be going back into storage for a while.Would you, personally, winterise again or take a chance?
pepe63xnotuse
I always tended to be a bit over careful, when it came to draining down...but for the few minutes it takes(to drain and "re-prime" ),it hardly seems worth not doing.... It would probably be fine..but it is still early yet("never cast a clout,'til May is out" and all that..) ....and if it's away in storage, it may be more of hassle to go and sort out/drain... Rayjsj
Me too, just because the weather has been mild (in the South and West anyway) doesn't mean that we might not get a cold snap, and an hour winterizing could save a lot of frozen 'Heartache' damage. May, the flowers of the hawthorn has been out for a fortnight, I certainly haven't cast an an item of clothing off yet ( a clout) cos the car was covered in frost this morning. I just assume that we have winter eight months of the year.
Charabanc
I would definitely drain down. Whether or not it freezes any water in the system would be very stale next time you take it out. I probably would leave cushions/ bedding in it if it has good ventilation. Have a good trip.
