mthomson
I would like to be able to remove the grille-type cover on the rear of each of the seat boxes of my Fiat Ducato 2012. It looks as though it ought to be straightforward, but I want to avoid breaking catches and clips. Advice would be much appreciated. Thanks, Mike
lennyhb
Get them nice and warm before trying to remove then, the clips are tight broke one on mine and put a small crack in the cover as well. When I refitted it I used flange head self tappers to hold it firmly in place. I noticed later Hymers now use screws to hold them in place. Mel B
I did have to remove one of ours once (can't remember why now!) and seem to recall that using some small flat screwdrivers to help the clips 'release' made it easier, although it is a bit tricky! I may well remove ours permanently and make a cover to go on them instead so we can access the stuff under there from both the front and back (dog towels etc), one thing to watch out for though is the cables etc that run inside the cavity itself.
