sean.clarke
Hi Peeps, doing some planning for my French excursion later this month and weighing up the idea of pushing onto Reims on Friday night (to spendSaturday in Reims before going south Sunday). I would be arriving late so would like somewhere easy and simple to spend the night. I've read good and bad opinions of the aire in Reims, but the common factor is it is small and tight to manoeuvre...... something I'd rather avoid in a large MH at about 22:00. Looking around there appears to be a nice aire before I'd get to Reims in Beautor, has anyone experience of this? Hoping to stay local and travel to Reims for a nice day and maybe look at the Mumms champagne celled tour..... Advice greatfuly received. Madge Gentle
As far as I recollect there's only 3 bays for MHs at the free Aire, by the side of the canal, but there is a E.Leclerc close by if the Aire is full and a Bus parking area that every vehicle except buses use. KeithR
I found no problem with my 22ft motorhome in the 5/6 bays at the reims aire. finding the aire was more problematic!!! it was about a 15/20 minute walk to the cathedral.
