lennyhb Posted April 7, 2014 Share Posted April 7, 2014 As this year is the 70th Anniversary of D-Day they are cordoning off a large area of Normandy and you will only get access if you have a pass issued by the MOD. Info here We toured the area last year during D-Day week it was really interesting with all the towns putting on events, just applied for our pass fingers crossed. I've applied for a vehicle pass anyway as it only took a couple of mins to fill in the form and email. At Arromanches on the edge of the town they mow a big field for FREE parking (England take note) dozens of Motorhomes spent the night there.
