Ninian
Hi, The motor to work the step is actually part of the step and is not mounted separately. If you have the step fitted then you've got the motor.
lennyhb
It is probably a Omni Step, I think Rose & Co are the importers, go to the link and click on an image and it will link to a spares diagram motors are quite expensive but can probably get a complete step for a lot less, depends if it is a single or double step, take a look at Leisure Shop Direct
yeti
Are you sure it is a powered step and not a manually operated one with a lever by the door.

keninpalamos
yeti - 2014-04-09 12:01 AM Are you sure it is a powered step and not a manually operated one with a lever by the door. Your going back a bit, Hymer stopped using manual steps in the very early nineties. The E series came out in '95 with electric steps so a '98 Hymer will have an electric step....unless of coarse it has been modified at some stage. If the steps are in the down position you can see the motor just above the top step and to the right. Hope that helps.
enzo
Thanks for a swift reply, have looked under the body and it looks like the motor has been taken off, all the cables are still just above the pre drilled holes, i think a new motor will have to be purchased, any suggestions as to where i might get one, enzo .
