Is this a threat to the ' low season ' ?

Included in the manifesto of the East Midlands MEP candidate is the following proposal :

" Provision for parents to take children on holiday for 10 days each year during term time "

Seems a very short sighted idea to me.

All that would happen is that the " high " season prices would be extended - and the " low" season get shorter.

He won't be getting my vote.

( He is an independent candidate )..

The Camping Caravanning club have got this covered, its called a "shoulder season" :'(

................ yep

.and if this bloke gets his way - how long before the " shoulder " season becomes the " high " season.

People who enjoy the benefits of going away in the low season may care ?

( No need to care yet though as it's not yet government policy ).
