Munich Campsites

I have been looking for a campsite in Munich and can't seem to find anything on the south east side, does anyone have any recommendations please?

 

Has anyone used the stellplatz at the Allianz Arena?

Would be interested if anyone has used the Allianz Arena. Drove past it last year on the German motorway so looks easy to find and so checked it out on the web yesterday as we are possibly going that way very soon.

We were going to camp a couple of years ago , but the storms were so bad, we found a cheapo hotel for the night.

There is a large MH Dealership just West of Munich off the Autobahn which has a stelplatz in its parking area and a pleasanter, level gravel parking area outside which we have used as a transit stop a couple of times. Busy while the place is open but peaceful overnight.

We stayed at the Allianz arena last August, I think it was €15.00 for the night, it has free electric points and toilets with grey and black water disposal. Strangely there was no fresh water supply. There is also a complementary tourist bus service which you can take from the car park to the old Olympic stadium where you can change buses and complete the journey to the centre of Munich. I think you can also catch the bus back the same way but it stops running at 5.30pm, so we took a taxi back after too many beers in the beer gardens. One thing to remember is you cannot stay in the car park on a match day so you would need to check online first, hope this helps.
