Guest peter Posted September 11, 2006 Share Posted September 11, 2006 Hi, any of you tech' guys know where the engine speed output is on a 1999 Fiat 2.8 dTDI is please as I want to fit a Tacho' so I can see what speed the engine is doing in order to maximise the torque and for fuel ecomony. Dave Newell Posted September 13, 2006 Share Posted September 13, 2006 Hi Peter, sorry I didn't reply earlier but I just don't know whether your vehicle takes engine speed from the alternator or from a hall sensor on the cam or crank.
