Pete-B
Hi, I'm thinking of getting a sat dish or snipe at some stage, not being savvy about lecky or technical things I would like to ask a question. I bought my van new in 2012 and the dealer fitted a 16" Avtex digital tele, model No W164DR. How can I tell if this has got a receiver for a sat dish, if it hasn't could someone recommend a small one. Thanks for any help.

colin
The Avtex models with integrated sat decoder have DRS after them, the latest 18.6" model is not much bigger than your 16.4" model, look for Avtex L186DRS, there not cheap at around £350, Cello make cheaper ones but they are a little bigger overal for screen size so you might have to stick to 16" with them. Pete-B
Sorry Stalwart I didn't explain very well I meant if my tele didn't have a receiver I would be looking to connect a small one too my existing set. Hope that makes sense!
Guest Had Enough
You'll need to buy a 12v digibox. It's just like a smaller version of your Sky box at home and will receive dozens of free programmes. They're not expensive, here's an example. http://www.leisurepower.co.uk/shop/digital_receivers.html If you really love your tele you can even buy sophisticated ones with built-in HD recorders so you can watch one programme whilst recording another.
