mthomson
The tambour door to the toilet compartment in my Autocruise Jazz rattles like crazy. Can anyone suggest how to reduce the noise? I do realise of course that turning up the radio would help, but this is a private vehicle and not a company car! The tambour doors are not the only source of noise and vibration. The Remis blinds on the cab doors can also vibrate, although a strong croc clip can deal with that. I'm sure there are other sources of rattles, but until the tambour door is quietened, I can't really hear them. All advice gratefully received! Thanks, Mike
colin
I wonder if holding the tambour door back with a sprung on elasticated clip/strap would help?
Dr Dave
What we did so stop our door rattling was to put a rubber bump stop which the door just pressed against when it was fully open then fit a plastic turnbuckle which holds the door firmly in the open position. Job done. Dave
