rgh999
Does anyone know whether the fast clips that are fixed into the box end of the wind out end are left in there permanently or do they have to be put in position every time you erect the room. I.e. Can the wind out awning be wound back in leaving the two clips in place.
Matrix Meanderer
Yes you leave the clips in place making sure they are clear of the rolled up awning material. We have the newer lightweight privacy room and also use these clips for our sun view side summer awning unit. Fiamma provide these multi purpose fixing mounts for all their awning mounted side panels and privacy room sides. On site now using the sun view side - the Fiamma system works well for us. rgh999
Many thanks. Didn't really want to have to carry steps every trip to enable me to fix and remove the clips every time.
Matrix Meanderer
Great but unless you are very tall you may need a step up to fix the top side edge of the privacy room, mine has bungee cords which loop over the awning box. So we use a collapsible double step (£9 from Staples). Try a dry run first and decide if you need a step up.
