derek500
If you go toll free, like we do, the fire station in Arlon is handy. Just before the Belgian/Luxembourg border.
jenkothewanderer
Hi trickydicky if you take a look at my earlier posting Reismobile-Stelplatze there is a stelplatze approx 15 km north of Luxembourg at Heiderscheid No 63 on the map. I stayed on it last month and it is a super stelplatze. 35 pitches all with electric, water tap and waste disposal. There is a motorhome dealership, camping shop, supermarket and friterie. 10 euros a night off season,15 euros high season. It is in a national park area and there are also interesting places to visit. GPS data 49.87788 E N/05.99364 It is not far off your route and may come in handy. Enjoy your trip.

jenkothewanderer
Yes it is the aire at Fuussekaul and there is also a camp on the opposite side of the road. You pay your money to the camp reception and place the receipt on the windscreen. Jenko
Guest JudgeMental
Thanks a lot..is it a nice area for cycling
jenkothewanderer
The stellplatze is to the side of a not too busy main road that runs through the national park area. I did not see any cycle tracks leading away from the stellplatze and it is hilly in places. The nearest places of interest would require taking the van off but there is also a frequent bus service that stops at the camp. We have a scooter which we used to visit the area.
