ips
As above. We are now thinking scotish borders instead of wales been looking at a few sites with sea views overlooking the Solway. mossyard caravan-park & Castle point Anyone stayed at either of the above or have any other ideas in this area. Sea views and a beach or harbour is a must (according to mrs ips) Many thanks
docted
Ian if you want you can go further along the Solway coast where the CC have some nice sites at Garlieston and Port Patrick. Mrs Ips should be happy as both are actually on the coast Garlieston has a harbour but is not a very busy one. Enjoy wherever you go :-D

Corky 8
Hi, this coast of Scotland is very scenic, there is a site before Mossyard that has no sign on the Entrance, call at Bungalow on right, the Co-ord taken off Google Earth are N.54.51`10.51 W.4.15`0855 Also there is a campsite on the edge of the sea at Port William.. http://www.kingsgreencaravanpark.com/.also if you venture along the A712 near Newton Stewart you will come across Murrays Monument, if you don't fancy the uphill walk, there's a waterfall to the right follow the trail, you will find plenty of off road parking ,there's also the wild Goat park a bit further along the A712 then further still a large Loch called Clatteringshaws, worth a wander. enjoy your visit.
