tonyg3nwl Posted July 10, 2014 Share Posted July 10, 2014 Hi folks, safely back on uk soil, after 6 weeks in South of France. problems now to resolve include repair to storm damage windout awning..bent support arm caused buy high wind breaking storm tiedown strap (old strap failed).. expected repair cost quoted as around 200 pounds, secondly faulty gas regulator fixed type blocked gas feed to van. Temporary bodge using old bottle mounted regulator and low pressure gas hose from barbie, to get gas working again. Marquis have provided replacement regulator under warranty. damaged awning removed from van and back at repairer. photos downloaded from camera, now need sorting and editing. expenses totalled up, and pleasantly surprised..leftover euros will go towards next trip. returned to find gardener has kept grass tidy, now to think about next outing.
