chas
Hi- thinking of upgrading my motorhome radio/cd player in the cab for better performance and reception, and it occured to me where did the manufacturer fit the aerial, it must be hidden in the luton part somewhere, but wondered if I might get better reception with a outside visible one, and what are the chances of good reception if aerial lead was connected up to the Status T.V. one on top of the roof, which has a booster for T.V. reception. Guest peter
Should be perfectly O/K using the Status arial as long as you take it from the point on the amplifier. I use one on my cruiser boat for Tele' and radio, as car arial's don't look right on a boat and rubber duck type arials are crap.
Baz
If you are going to use the Status amplifier and aerial for your radio you must remember not to connect the shield in the coax to the plug going to the amplifier. The radio uses a different type of aerial to that which the tv does. Wont go into the technical bits. Best try and see how it goes. Good luck (^)
Guest peter
Status ampifiers have an output for radio already installed. I.E both Tele' and Radio sockets or at least mine has.
