Billggski
http://www.smartgauge.co.uk/batt_con.html Just found this when researching how to connect them up. Would have been useful when I had a narrow boat with four batteries, but with two it just seems you connect diagonal pole to balance the current. Tracker
When fitting a second battery, I always connect the two batteries diagonally to ensure that both are worked equally and the second is not just a 'back up' slave to the first because it is reckoned by some experts (there's that word again - expert!) to help with battery life expectancy and that is a good enough reason for me! But how often do we draw 100 amps from our leisure batteries?
